Patrice Noa speaks at a round table on food security in Africa
Invited to take part in a round table discussion, Patrice Noa, delegate of the Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement (IECD) in the Central African Republic, took the floor to talk about food security in a globalised world.

The IECD supports Central African youth and entrepreneurs
The Réseau Méditerranée Nouvelle Chance organised the second edition of its MedExchange, an exchange of 35 young people and 7 trainers dedicated to intercultural dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean, developing life skills among young people and raising awareness of environmental protection, while promoting careers linked to the ecological transition.
The MedNC network’s annual conference provided an opportunity for network members and partners to meet and discuss key topics in youth inclusion.
The bakery schools La Boulangerie Française in Vietnam and Myanmar are part of a vocational training project by the European Institute for Cooperation and Development (IECD), that offers young women and men from underprivileged backgrounds training opportunities to become professional bakers. Among various career choices in renowned hotels, resorts, bake shops and restaurants, some of the alumni chose to come-back to the La Boulangerie Française as trainers after their graduation to transfer their skills to the next generation of students.
Each year, the SESAME program organizes a special event for students: the challenge week. It aims to encourage the students to put the teachings they have received during the first part of their preparatory year into practice. This year, they worked in groups to find solutions to major global issues, such as climate change and the Covid 19 crisis.
