In 2023, the country registered 4.5 million cars for a population of 100 million. By 2030, the market could double to between 9 and 10 million vehicles on the road. This expansion is marked by a strong increase in demand for automotive services, particularly maintenance, repair and technical assistance.<\/p>\n<p>However, this growth raises crucial issues, particularly when it comes to <strong><span style=\"color: #99677f;\">recruiting qualified technicians<\/span><\/strong>. Companies are facing recruitment difficulties, often due to a mismatch between the skills they require and the training currently on offer.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2024, the IECD has been helping young people in socio-economically vulnerable situations to acquire the necessary skills through specialised training courses combining <strong><span style=\"color: #99677f;\">theoretical learning and practical work placements in host companies.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the support of the Agence Fran\u00e7aise de D\u00e9veloppement, the Motul Corazon Foundation, the Motul company and its subsidiary Motul Asia Pacific, these training courses run in conjunction with District 12 Technical Economic College in Ho Chi Minh City offer :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A<b><span style=\"color: #99677f;\"> 9-month programme<\/span><\/b> (including a 6-month internship) covering practical training, learning technical skills and life skills (self-confidence, communication, professional positioning, etc.),<\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #99677f;\">Capacity-building training for trainers<\/span><\/strong> to ensure the sustainability and expansion of the programme throughout Vietnam,<\/li>\n<li>Workshops to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and the environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, services have been set up to help young people enter the automotive market:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With the support of companies, the construction and recognition of <strong><span style=\"color: #99677f;\">training curricula for automotive professions<\/span><\/strong> by the supervisory authorities,<\/li>\n<li>The creation of an <strong><span style=\"color: #99677f;\">alumni network<\/span><\/strong> to strengthen relations between former students, share best
