Partnerships with companies and company foundationsFor its programmes to be successful, IECD counts on numerous partnerships signed with companiesThe financial partners are sollicited to support projects which are consistent with their values, their intervention area in the world or their filed of activity (healthcare, agriculture, agro-industry, crafts industry, savings and loans etc.). Companies may provide financial contributions to co-finance projects. They may also sponsor IECD's projects with the technical skills of their employees. In this way, they provide IECD with their rich experience of dealing with company and development issues. IECD is a non-profit organization whose mission has been recognised as "d'utilité publique" (a French legal term meaning the mission has an officially recognised public interest objective). As such, IECD is entitled to receiving donations from companies and company foundations. Each company donation is covered by a full-discharge tax receipt enabling a tax reduction equal to 60% of the total donation, within the limit of 5% of the turnover of the business.
