Partnerships with companies and company foundationsFor its programmes to be successful, the IECD counts on numerous partnerships signed with companiesThese partnerships can present themselves in many different varieties, depending on business interests, their location and their various sectors of activity (healthcare, agriculture, agro-industry, crafts industry, savings and loans, etc.). Companies may provide financial contributions to co-finance projects, and simultaneously, if they wish, offer the IECD projects their technical expertise and knowledge, through, for example, the involvement of their employees. In this way, they provide the IECD with their rich experience of dealing with company issues and of developing activities inherent to their sector. As a non-profit organization for international solidarity created under Alsace-Moselle local law, and registered as a support and charity group by the Prefecture of the Bas-Rhin in 1995, the IECD is entitled to receiving donations from companies and company foundations. Each company donation is covered by a full-discharge tax receipt enabling a tax reduction equal to 60% of the total donation, within the limit of 5% of the turnover of the business.
